We are bringing our passions of advocacy, teaching, women’s health and spiritual alignment into one class. This class is best suited for families interested in holistic natural childbirth focusing on out of hospital birthing. We still incorporate what a hospital transfer looks like, possible interventions and how to advocate for yourself.
The childbirth classes are taught in an integrative way to learn through all aspects of pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum. Classes will include preparation homework, class discussion and hands on learning.
Our goal is to guide birthing people and their partners on the journey of preparation and intuitive confidence for this transformative experiencing we call birth.
We hope that families will get a chance to create bonds, gain perspective and enjoy this learning process.
All families attending in person will receive a goody bag of essentials to help you in labor and a network to resources in the community.

I began birth work as a doula many years ago then fell into activism for women of color. Of course my journey didn’t stop there. I later decided to begin Midwifery school and I recently graduated in December of 2021. During that time I still supported families as a doula and student midwife. I gained interest in herbal yoni steaming ,placenta encapsulation and teaching childbirth education. My goal and motivation has always been the same in that I am ready to change the narrative of fearful birthing and the lack of informed consent especially in our communities of color. Knowledge is power and I hope that after taking our class you and your partner feel secure in moving forward on your journey with ease. With any marathon, preparation is key and the work begins with you!

I am honored and overjoyed to be sharing the stage with my exceptional daughter Cinnamon. She has been attending births since she was born-literally! I toted her along as I facilitated the childbirth process with families, pre and post partum. Cinnamon served as my doula for the birth of her youngest brother when she was 12 years old and with the alignment of the stars, my brilliant daughter Cinnamon will continue the work.
As a lactation educator and childbirth guide, I strive to prepare and support women through the varied and nuanced stages of lactation and childbirth. My journey toward lactation and childbirth stems from a deep interest in women’s health and rights to their bodies.
I grew up on the east side of Los Angeles, a place where breastfeeding was the norm but no one spoke of lactation consultants. Help for breastfeeding women came from mothers, sisters, aunts, cousins and neighbors.
My educational background includes didactic and clinical course work at the Lactation Institute and Breastfeeding Clinic in Encino, California where I received my CLE. While studying and clinical training at the Lactation Institute and Breastfeeding Clinic, I earned a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Human Development with a specialization in Developmental Education, followed by a Master’s of Arts Degree in Human Development with a specialization in Ecological Perspectives of Lifespan Development. I then pursued my childbirth educator certification with the Bradley’s.
